Release of TEXTBOOK OF DIALYSIS THERAPY at 48th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Nephrology by Dr M M Rajapurkar Sir (President-Indian Society of Nephrology, Director-Postgraduate Studies & Research, Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital, Nadiad) and Dr Vinay Sakhuja Sir (Eminent Editor-Indian Journal of Nephrology, Former Director and Head of Nephrology department-PGIMER, Chandigarh).
During this conference there were more than 1400 Nephrologists (out of total 1600 Nephrologists) from all over the India and nearby countries.

Dr. Jigar Shrimali, MD DM Nephro (Gold Medalist), is working as a consultant nephrologist and transplant physician in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Apart from being actively interested in live-related and cadaveric kidney transplant programs, he is keen on academic programs in which he conducts lectures for resident doctors and physicians and workshops for dialysis technicians, in which he has discussed over 30 topics for dialysis therapies alone.
During these lectures, he realized the requirements of clinicians and technicians in terms of practical as well as medical knowledge of dialysis therapy in detailed but simpler way. This resulted in offering these solutions in The Textbook of Dialysis.

Dr Jigar Shrimali is MD DM Nephro (Gold Medallist) working as consultant nephrologist and transplant physician at Shalby Hospitals Ahmedabad. He is specially trained for kidney diseases, dialysis and kidney transplantation at I.K.D.R.C. Ahmedabad with first rank and for that he has received Gold Medal. He has experience of more than 1200 kidney transplantations at I.K.D.R.C. Ahmedabad. He has done more than 50 kidney transplantations at Shalby hospitals in duration of 2 years only.
